You guys SHOWED UP for your Bonsall Bears this 24-25 school year! Here's just some of what the PTA was able to do because of your fundraising efforts and countless hours of volunteerism. Huge thank you to everyone who gave their money, time and talent to make this year memorable.

Where Your Donations Go

Thanks to your generous support, the PTA funded over $88,000 in critical programs, classroom supplies, and student enrichment this year! Below is a breakdown of how these funds directly benefited our school:

1. Enrichment Programs & Student Experiences ($59,280)

Field Trips ($15,000) – Students explored educational destinations like the SD Zoo, Legoland, Biztown, and local farms. Each trip included ~20 volunteer chaperones.
Library Programs ($15,330) – Book fairs, swaps, and donations kept students engaged in reading.
Grade-Level Grants ($12,000) – Flexible seating, sensory tools, and standing desks enhanced learning environments.
Jog-A-Thon Shirts ($7,600) – Every student received a free shirt (partially sponsored by local businesses).
Yearbook Subsidy ($5,000) – Kept costs low for families while providing a high-quality, full-color yearbook.
BMX Assembly ($2,400) – An exciting, motivational event for all students.
Talent Show/Family Night ($2,050) – Over 60 students showcased their talents!
Fun Fridays ($1,400) – Monthly popsicle rewards for positive behavior.

2. Classroom & Teacher Support ($28,730)

Classroom Supplies ($11,000) – Essential consumables (pencils, crayons, glue, paper) stocked in every room.
Teacher Appreciation ($5,000) – Meals, treats, and gifts to thank our hardworking staff.
Monthly Birthday Meals ($1,000) – Celebrated teachers/staff birthdays with special meals
Arts Attack ($730) – Parent-led art lessons in each classroom monthly.
Paw Shop ($1,300) – A behavior incentive store run by volunteers.

None of this would be possible without a collective 2590+ volunteer hours donated by parents, staff, and community members. Here’s how that time was spent:
